How to get to Gotse Delchev hut?

10 kilometers south of the town of Dobrinishte, in the area of Logoveto and at a height of 1412 meters above sea level, stands Gotse Delchev hut. This massive two-story building offers 4 rooms, a dining room with amazing Bulgarian cuisine. The road to the lodge promises exciting moments. It reveals the beauty of the Bulgarian mountains. Built in the area of Logovete, the hut is easily accessible, offering various options for transport and accommodation.
  • By car from Dobrinishte: the most direct and convenient way to get there. The road is asphalted and you can reach it from the starting point in about 30 minutes.
  • With a lift – Gotse Delchev hut is located near the lower station of the Bezbog lift. You can leave your car in the parking lot and enjoy the majestic views. Between the two huts, a ski track has been built, which offers opportunities for descents of different levels of difficulty.

From Gotse Delchev hut to Popovo Lake

The journey from Gotse Delchev hut to Popovo lake is one of the most picturesque and exciting adventures in Pirin. You can use the lift or take a walk through the beautiful nature. If you chose the second option, keep in mind that the route is quite easy and suitable for families with children. It starts with a gentle climb, passing through paths enveloped in greenery and wildlife. You can take the whole distance in 3 hours, 3 and a half hours. After reaching Bezbog hut on the marked paths, you can stop to rest, support yourself with a cup of hot tea and continue to the lake. The hike starts from the hut itself, initially walking along Bezbojko Lake. You follow only the green marking. In some places you will pass through rocky sections, but overall the course is flat and pleasant. Shortly before you reach the end point, you will find a beautiful meadow with a small spring. A few minutes after it, you will reach Popovo Lake. It, with its turquoise water and tranquility, is a treasure hidden among the mountain peaks, offering a unique place to rest and recharge. At the end of the day, returning to the cozy Gotse Delchev hut, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and share stories from the adventure.
