Summer hiking walks usually start early in the morning when the air is still cool and fresh, and end at 14:00. With a well-planned organization, you can relax and rejuvenate your body and spirit in a warm pool with thermal water and relaxing SPA programs at the Wellness center in the late afternoon.
The Bezbog hut is situated along the shore of a lake with the same name. The hiking routes include climbing the peaks of Bezbog, Poledzhan and Gazei. Another route goes to the mythical Popovo lake. Тwo crystal clean streams flow from the lake and go down through a picturesque valley with meadows, far from the tourist. The Samodivski lakes are known as “the heart” of the mountain being a preferable destination. For experienced climbers we recommend the peak Dzhano (2668 m above sea level).
Gotse Delchev chalet (1485 m above sea level) is the starting point for hiking walks around Bezbog area. The tourist can take the chair lift to the chalet of Bezbog (2240m above sea level) and feel the beauty of the surrounding nature, the smell of the pine trees, the sounds of the birds and the cool breeze.
The Vihren hut is one of the most visited sites in Pirin. On the way to the chalet tourist can see the sacred Baikusheva Mura – the oldest tree in Bulgaria. The Lakes Okoto, Muratovo and Ribno can be easily reached by appropriate hiking trails. For well- equipped climbers we recommend conquering Vihren peak (2914 m above sea level).
