Popular routes and huts in Pirin

• Hut Gotse Delchev (1485 m above sea level, 12 km from Ruskovets)
  Starting point for hikes in the park area Bezbog. The chairlift to Bezbog hut (2240 m), from where magnificent views of the Pirin Mountains are revealed. The scent of pine, the sounds of nature and the cool breeze.
• Bezbog Hut
  Located on the shore of the lake of the same name, offers routes to the peaks of Bezbog, Polezhan and Gazey. The mythical Lake Popovowhose streams flow into picturesque valleys with fresh meadows. More ambitious mountaineers can head to the Mount Djano и Samodivske Lakes.
• Chalet Vihren (25 km from Ruskovets)
  The most visited hut in Pirin, located near the sacred Baikusheva mura - the oldest tree in Bulgaria. From here start routes to Lake Okoto, Muratovo and the Fish Lakes, as well as to Mt. Vihren (2914 m) - the second highest peak in Bulgaria.
• Demyanitsa hut (17 km) and Yavorov hut (27 km)
  Suitable for day hikes among pine forest, mountain meadows and crystal clear rivers.

A combination of nature and relaxation

Typically, summer mountain routes start early in the morning, when it is cool, and finish by 2pm. This leaves plenty of time for afternoon relaxation - the mineral pool and various spa treatments in the Ruskovets Resort are the best continuation of an active day in the mountains.
