The secrets of real Italian pizza
First of all, these are the products we use to make the pizzas:
Italian flour type “00” Caputo Manitoba Oro from Puglia – a guarantee of elastic and thin dough. Original, imported from Italy, with high protein content;
Homemade tomato sauce without preservatives, flavored with olive oil, basil and oregano;
Italian cheeses – Mozzarella, Scamorza, Gorgonzola, Ricotta, Parmesan, Burrata. They give the aroma and tempting taste of the popular Pizza with 4 cheeses;
Fresh tomatoes and other vegetables from the region, grown without chemicals, complement the fresh and natural taste of the pizzas at Il Forno.
How do we prepare our pizzas?
At Il Forno we follow old Neapolitan traditions and believe that perfect pizza requires patience and attention to every detail.
Fermentation of the dough
Knead with Italian flour, salt, water and yeast
Fermentation from 12 to 24 hours to allow the live yeast to bring the dough maturation process to its perfect taste
The result is a light and airy bloat of up to 1 cm
Baking method
We bake the pizzas in a wood-fired oven
Temperature should be up to 485°C
Fast baking in 3-5 minutes thanks to the thin air layer and the well heated oven
Serving and additions
Fresh basil as desired
You can additionally order Parmesan flakes
