Dobrinishte has been famous for its healing mineral waters since ancient times, when these lands were inhabited by the Romans (4-5th century).
Today, the town of Dobrinishte is an established spa resort with its 17 mineral springs in combination with the unspoiled nature of the Pirin Mountain. There is not a single industrial enterprise in Dobrinishte and the whole town is in the arms of the mountain.
Water in Ruskovets
Complex Ruskovets is situated on an area of 20 acres, at the foot of Pirin Mountain, next to a forest with coniferous trees.
The air in the hotel complex is not just crystal clear, but has a unique pine scent. The resinous microparticles in the air are extremely beneficial for respiratory problems.
The combination of beautiful nature, fresh air and mineral water give guests health, energy and a feeling of calm and freshness. The natural features of Ruskovets Resort make it suitable for both balneotherapy and climatotherapy.
The mineral water in Dobrinishte is hyperthermal, low mineralized, hydrocarbonate-sulfate-sodium-silica water, high in fluoride, with alkaline reaction and temperature from 38.4 to 43.1 degrees Celsius.
The water is odourless and colourless, making it suitable for medicinal drinking, but not for everyday use due to its high fluoride content.

It has choleretic action – enhances the secretion of bile and helps the bile ducts.

For drinking balneotherapy – do not drink the water up to 6 months after hemorrhage from the gastrointestinal tract, oncological diseases, diseases in the acute stage, CHD – with rhythm disorders, epilepsy.

IMPORTANT! The mineral water in the pools for children and adults is refreshed every day up to 60%, which means that you use real healing mineral water if you are our guest.
The modern water filtration systems used preserve the water’s qualities as much as possible.
Special mineral water treatments are offered at the hotel’s spa.
The two outdoor jacuzzis in the complex are used individually or in groups of 1 to 5 guests. They are filled with mineral water for each new use. They are open all year round.

The most famous of all the springs is the Silver Spring, due to the increased content of silver ions, which have a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect on the human body. Silver water is especially healing for eye diseases.
Mineral water treatment in Dobrinishte is carried out by inhalation, various external water therapies and by drinking, with a treatment cycle of at least 7 procedural days.
