SCOLIOSIS SUMMER SCHOOL
July 8 – 13, 2019 in Ruskovets Thermal Spa & Ski Resort
What is the program:
The Scoliosis Summer School program was developed for children with established spinal curvatures. The children will work according to the BSPTS (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School) method, based on Schroth and the SEAS (Scientific Exercises Approach of Scoliosis), which include physiotherapeutic specific exercises for scoliosis approved by SOSORT (Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment).
Scoliosis Summer School aims for specialized physiotherapy to be applied intensively, combined with high physical activity. Children will be immersed in an environment different from everyday life, in nature and in the company of their peers.
Who organizes the treatment program:
The Sport and Health EOOD team under the leadership of Dr. Borislav Chongov is committed to the overall organization of the treatment and rehabilitation program for the children in the camp.
Who can participate:
Both children who have been trained in the BSPTS or SEAS method, as well as children who are now starting their therapy, can participate.
- Each child will be measured at the beginning and end of the period. Information collected about the impact of the Scoliosis Summer School will be analyzed and provided to parents.
We call our program “school” because children will gain skills on how to build their daily lives to be healthy and happy.

Minimum number of participants: 10, maximum – 15.
After filling the number or if the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will schedule a new date.
